LearningFlow LearningFlow vs Google Classroom
Google Classroom is free for accredited schools, and it is already where your classes, rosters and gradebook live; LearningFlow does not replace any of that. It makes the worksheet, the rubric, the quiz and the narrated video, then hands you the .docx or .mp4 you attach to a Classroom assignment.

Choose Google Classroom if
Classroom should stay the home of the coursework record itself, and for an accredited school that is rarely a close call.
- Your school already runs Google Workspace, so every student and teacher signs in with an account you manage, and guardians get summaries at any email address.
- You need the gradebook, class codes, co-teachers and guardian email summaries, all free at Education Fundamentals.
- On Education Plus or the Teaching and Learning Upgrade, grades already export from Classroom into a supported SIS, and the office expects that to keep working in September.
Choose LearningFlow if
LearningFlow is the right call when the job is making the material, or when Google will not sell you Workspace for Education at all.
- A corporate training team needs learner accounts, and Workspace for Education only qualifies accredited schools and degree-awarding universities.
- You want the Year 7 worksheet back as a .docx and the mark scheme as a table, not a blank document to fill in.
- A teacher leaves in July and the school needs the tools they built to stay with the school.

This is a good product at what it does. The question for a school is what else is on the invoice: each remaining job is another product, another bill, another set of logins, and a handover you do by hand every time.

One login, one pool of credits, one place the spending shows up. A video drops into a lesson, the lesson becomes an assignment, the assignment writes to a base and an app reads it — nothing is exported and re-imported.

Where Google Classroom is the better choice
If you are an accredited school already on Google Workspace, Classroom should remain your coursework record, and it is not close. Every student and teacher has an identity in your domain, guardians get email summaries at any address, and the gradebook, class codes and co-teachers cost nothing at Education Fundamentals. Google runs no advertising in core services, holds ISO/IEC 27001, 27701 and 42001, and publishes FERPA, COPPA and GDPR commitments. Nothing on this page asks you to move a class off it.

Before they decide.
Do we have to move off Google Classroom to use this?
No. Classroom keeps the class, the roster and the gradebook. LearningFlow makes the material and hands you a .docx, .pptx, .xlsx or .mp4, which you attach to a Classroom assignment the way you attach a Doc today. Most schools run both, and the teacher's routine does not change shape.
We are a corporate training team. Can we just use Classroom?
Generally not with managed learner accounts. Classroom runs on a personal Google Account, but provisioned learner accounts, admin controls and guardian summaries need Workspace for Education. That is limited to government-recognised accredited schools and degree-awarding universities, and corporate funded training centres are listed as not qualifying. LearningFlow sells to schools, colleges and training teams alike, and learners get their own accounts, join codes and assignments.
What happens to a teacher's work when they leave in July?
In Classroom the class belongs to that teacher. Only the primary teacher can delete it, ownership moves only when they promote a co-teacher, that move cannot be undone, and Google advises transferring before the account is deleted. In LearningFlow the organisation holds the work, because orgId is set at creation and never moves between organisations. Removing a member deletes their membership row, and an admin can list org-library tools whose owner has left and reassign them.
Can an admin switch features on for one department only?
Classroom is coarse here: the service is turned on or off per organisational unit rather than per person, changes take up to 24 hours to reach users, and class creation is one domain-wide setting with three options. LearningFlow switches seven capabilities per member: org-library, chat, flow-creator, assignment-creator, solution-designer, base and work with AI. A role grants the permission key, the member then opts in, and assignment-creator requires flow-creator.
Which AI models do we get, and does the price tier decide?
In Classroom the AI is Gemini, with no documented picker for model family or version; the tier changes access and allowance, and the Google AI Pro for Education add-on is listed at $15.00 per user per month on a one-year commitment, or $24.00 per user per month billed monthly. In LearningFlow the model list does not depend on a plan, a seat count or a free tier. Flow Designer reaches Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek among others, and the only gate is a per-organisation admin override.
